Nope, Olivemore. Spartan society was divided into three classes: Spartiate, Perioeci, and Helots. The Spartiate, as can deduced by the name, were the warrior or top class. Only they were citizens of Sparta. Next came the free, but non-citizen class called Perioeci. They were the artisans and business owners of Spartans society.
