Ten cars lined up in the street stock class. Thomas Benford who came from third on the grid, won from Whyalla driver Chris Hastings. There were 11 open wheeler drivers split into two heats. In round two it was decided to split the 10 street stock drivers and in the first race Glen Watts from Ceduna got pole position and led all the way.
Josh Pickett from Whyalla won the second heat. The modified class was competitive and was creating plenty of excitement for the spectators. The open wheelers were putting on a show for the crowd. After the tea break it was back into action again for round three and there had been few withdrawals with some great racing.
