We bought this Electrolux front loading washer 2 years ago because of its high ratings. It has turned out to be a full blown disaster. There are only two of us, so it is used very little. It has been down three times in two years. This last time, it was under the extended warranty, which we took out because of the repair issues. It has been over two weeks and the dryer is still not repaired. The Electrolux contractor is too busy to pick up the part and fix it. I have been on the phone endlessly with both electrolux and the contractor.

They tell me they will call me back when it is resolved. I have never gotten a call or had a visit scheduled to fix it. I would use the sellers repair department first.

If that's not an option some sellers don't fix what they sell , use any reputable appliance repair company. They would work with your extended warranty and Electrolux. The one who is dropping the ball is the "contractor". Forget him and use any repair facility you want.

This is not electroluxes problem this is a bad repairman who is too lazy to go get a part. Most repairmen are not exclusive to one manufacturer so not sure what you mean by electrolux contractor.
